PRESENTATION
Since its foundation in 1850, Robertet has been committed to offering its expertise in natural materials to the entire world. Based in Grasse, the headquarters employs over 900 people across three sites, primarily focused on the production of raw materials, Flavors, and Fragrances. In 2014, Robertet created a new division, “Health & Beauty,” to explore the health and beauty benefits of natural ingredients. Thanks to the expertise of its subsidiaries HiteX and Bionov, Robertet excels in improving its results, profitability, and impact on French soil. In September 2016, the group was honored with the Creative Audacity Award by the President of the Republic for its innovations.
EXPERTISE
All Robertet expertise is centralized in Grasse. The teams responsible for development and creation in perfumery, aromas, raw materials, and natural actives have their own application laboratories. Grasse is home to more than 40 perfumers and over 25 aroma specialists. To continue offering high-quality solutions, the evaluation, marketing, consumer insights, and sensory analysis teams support the development teams. Robertet also provides administrative, regulatory, and analytical services. In 2010, Robertet launched an internal school of perfumery to train 3 students per year, aiming to diversify and originalize fragrance profiles while preserving Grasse’s savoir-faire. This deep market knowledge enables the company to meet the demands of the most discerning clients.
PRODUCTION SITE
The Robertet Group boasts several production units in Grasse. Its historical raw materials manufacturing facility is located in Sidi-Brahim. Additionally, Robertet has developed an aroma blending unit in Plan de Grasse since the 1980s, and launched a new perfume blending facility in 2011. The Robertet Group strives to maintain its sustainability in the Grasse area through significant recent and upcoming investments. Its annual perfume composition output exceeds 4000 tons. The Quality Control laboratory, equipped with modern and innovative measuring instruments, ensures product excellence. Recently, Robertet invested 40 million euros to enhance the logistics of its aroma and perfumery divisions and to increase the group’s production capacities.
